My thoughts about A Place Beyond ~~

I love trilogies for the fact that we, the readers, really get to know the characters in the story. I felt like Allison and Ethan became my friends and I truly cared about what happened to them. A Place Beyond was the perfect ending to this great trilogy!
'So many lives in my hands and it settled like a lead cannon in my stomach.'
Allsion has to do the unthinkable in order to save her mother and father. She's not sure she can do it but she has no choice. She is on her own and she has to make it happen.
'Now I was under Aoife's control and as much as I tried, I couldn't think of a way to get out of it without causing more death and suffering.'
She really is a strong main character and she is surrounded by a lot of caring friends and family who see her through the tough times.
'You are stronger than many women of the Tuatha de Danaan could ever hope to be. You just don't see yourself clearly.'
I am really glad that I was able to take this journey with Allison and was able to learn about this world that she is thrown into. I admire authors who can create other worlds in their imaginations for us to experience. I love this world that Laura has created and am excited to where she takes us next.

About the author

Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings.

Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn't until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known.
